I've decided to reply to net trolls who write me crap in comment sections w/a standardized statement

Yes, I do realize that they won't give a flying fuck. They are, after all, TROLLS.

However, I'm betting that they can read ENGLISH and although I'm only conversant in two languages myself, English and Bad English, writing this statement is the only way that I feel that I can get my point across to them.

I do not know how to write in Trollese.

So here it is. And if you don't mind, please tell me what you think about it:

Thanks of the reply.

However, I do not intend to counter your argument. Based on my own past experience of conversing with people like yourself, who only want to recite a certain type of rhetoric on the internet and are not really interested in having a cogent conversation… Invariably, these discussions turn out to be pointless exercises in futility. So please save any further attempts to have a pointless argument, I won't respond to any further rhetorical responses.

Now, understand that I won't attempt to dissuade you from your opinion, although I will concede that you are entitled to have it for yourself. It's only fair.

Instead, I'm going to tell you why I won't accept your opinion as one that I would agree with.

It's been my experience that your rhetoric is the product of frequent and prolonged exposure to a particular type of media. You trust that media no matter what. They are people who could tell you that the sky was made of jelly beans and you would believe them with no questions asked. All you're doing right now is reciting that rhetoric. You haven't taken any actual time or effort to explore alternate sources of information which may contradict the rhetoric and thus, constrain you from repeating it. Instead you have decided to accept and recite the rhetoric as gospel anyway.

Anything I will say to you will most likely contradict your argument. Even if I were to provide irrefutable data and highly logical points to counter your rhetoric, you will invariably reject it.

You're probably rejecting this very sentence that you're reading right now. I know this because you have found me so objectionable that you've had to reply to my comment with your recitation of rhetoric in the first place. So, no matter what, you are pre-programmed to disagree with me and my words.

So be it.

Let me conclude with some advice that you will not accept at all: Please form convincing arguments instead of reciting pointless rhetoric. That stuff is really easy to refute. People who have taken the time and effort to get good information will never repeat what you've just written. You won't help things by making other people misinformed when you repeat bad information. The good stuff out there, but only if you're willing to process it.

People who recite ridiculous crap on the internet really have no idea what they're talking about and they never, ever try bothering to understand the people who actually do.

That is why you're reading this right now… Because I know who you are.

Good day

I will kindly appreciate your observations and advice.

but secondly, I would ask if anyone would find it persuasive if directed at themself. Because the other side believes the same thing about us, often with good reason. We take what we hear from Rachel and LarryO and Michael Moore, often without the large grain of salt that should be added.

But you cannot debunk Fox News or Limbaugh just by saying "they suck". The actual work of debunking needs to be done.

Trolls often ask for links. I realized this back in the eighties after I read a story about the Head Start program. I was stating what a good program this was to a fundie xtian friend-at-the-time, and he was incredulous. He kept asking me for my source. I told him Time magazine (could have been newsweek, I don't recall), and then he started to tell me that the source was no good. They haven't changed much in all these years.

Let me tell why it is so long anyway.

I don't think that they're actually able to process concise statements.

They need to have something repeated to them to get a point across. This is their only chance to understand what I'm telling them. I could reply with something like, "go fuck yourself with the business end of a cactus", but let's face it, something like that would only sexually arouse them.

I'm trying to BORE them into leaving me alone with giving them the same point over and over again.

Plus, this is a way for me to show them that I'm not into their trollish little games.

You will lose them with the first sentence. I suggest something much simpler to try to get to their level. Maybe: "Hey asswipe, take some classes and get back to me."

"Too many words." I'll extend it to say, "Too many words for their tiny little minds."

Below is an slightly edited opening, which is still too many words. I believe they are only capable of digesting 5-6 in a single soundbite. Furthermore, you probably lost them at "thanks for the reply." Simple politeness and civility is certain to trip their circuits.

"Based on my own past experience of conversing with people like yourself, who only want to recite a certain type of rhetoric on the internet and are not really interested in having a cogent conversation, I do not intend to counter your argument. You're fighting them on their field, not yours, which should always be the field of calm and reasoned debate.

Some people will never be convinced so you need to leave them behind.

And I agree with what some posters have said. It's too long a retort.

That's just for our consumption.

Second, I really don't care if I'm not convincing them. If they bother to read into it, they'll understand that I don't want to convince them. It's up to them to do the work. If they're not up to the task, then it really sucks to be them.

AS I said before, I'm trying to BORE them to death instead of attempting to refute their bullshit. I don't care about their bullshit.

The length demonstrates my tactic of hitting them back with a wall of words, none of which will give any regard to what they've said to me.

It's a lock down. So, if they decide to reply to it, it shouldn't be any surprise if they don't get subsequent responses.

Actually, I'm flattered on one hand (The fool wrote it verbatim), and not surprised that he didn't add or subtract anything of his own on the other. That's quite the sign of a small, unimaginative mind at work.

So, to everyone here who didn't think that the trolls would ever pay any attention to my statement, the proof, otherwise, is in the pudding.

I win!
