(50,310 posts)Benefits for coal miners suffering from black lung are tied to Obamacare. The donut hole for prescription drugs for seniors will come back full tilt as it was just closing up. Medicare premiums will rise. There will be no more free check-ups or other preventive health services. People who work 30 hours a week will lose employer-provided insurance. Insurance companies will be free to set caps on lifetime coverage again and people with pre-existing conditions will be left hoping they live until they get to Medicare again. The bottom line is that Republicans want all the good things Obamacare provides, but they don't want to pay for it.
