SHitler Says GM Cars are "Mexican made" - they're actually made in Ohio

General Motors defended its business practices on Tuesday after President-elect Donald Trump ripped the automaker for producing cars in Mexico and sending them back to the United States.

GM, the nation's biggest automaker, said only a small number of Cruze hatchbacks are made in Mexico and sold in the United States, while the majority of the production in Mexico is sold in that market.

"General Motors manufacturers the Chevrolet Cruze sedan in Lordstown, Ohio. All Chevrolet Cruze sedans sold in the U.S. are built in GM’s assembly plant in Lordstown, Ohio. GM builds the Chevrolet Cruze hatchback for global markets in Mexico, with a small number sold in the U.S.,” a statement from the company reads.

the hatchback models are made in Mexico, that's presumably what Trump is blabbing about
and GM leadership is prevaricating here by cherry-picking the sedan models, which are indeed made in Ohio

when this blows over, Trump will seem MORE credible because of this while the people who dissed him over it are going to have egg on their faces

and Trump comes out on the side of American auto-workers, as Democrats scramble to attack him with (deliberately?) weak GM corporate spin

this is how we lose

The second part of GM's statement actually confirms what Trump said. ( But don't actually tell anyone that, it's unseemly.)

The old saying "You have a right to your own opinion, but not to your own facts" doesn't apply to Dump. The Liar In Chief gets to have his OWN facts.

Donald Trump plans on playing people. His plan was to say the vehicles were made in Mexico and then some time later take credit for the jobs being brought back to the United States.
