Obama's marvelous farewell speech

This is not just a great president. This is a wonderful human being.

Some of the words he spoke left me in tears. And some of his words left me with hope.

Tomorrow, he will be attacked by Republican hatred, venom and lies.

But for tonight, let's let President Obama's words wash across us and give us hope.

History will treat this outstanding man accordingly.

The least we can do is to honor his incredible words and concepts, and to ignore those who will spit on him tonight/tomorrow/and forever.

If nothing else, let's recognize an exeptional human being when we see and hear him.

We have been fortunate to witness a giant who believes in the basic goodness of humanity.
