Listening to a bit of the pisser...presser...on the radio, this shocked me

well, truthfully, it all shocked me - but them, just call me old fashioned - expecting truth, hating lying and all that.

But - the sound of applause. At first I got really steamed - were the reporters actually applauding this fraudclown? Were people holding up signs to clap? Was this just part of a "reality" TV show skit?

Then I read on TPM just now that it was his staff that were clapping. http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/trump-press-conference-boasted-own-cheering-section

I always knew that wealth, greed, power led to a circle of ass kissing sycophants.

Little did I think he was going to bring them all along to lavish praise on his elephantine ego....

It only gets worse, doesn't it?

This is going to be a very long four years. I hope we still recognize this country after DT is through with it.

Maybe not as explosive, but dangerous nonetheless.

Because they should know that could be any one of them.

But yes, it was Trump's sycophants in the room who applauded, not the fellow journalists.

I listened to a much as I could, then told him "I can't listen anymore he's babbling" We got into one of those mild been-married-forever-arguments; my husband " I want to hear him make his point!" Me; "honey, he's never going to make his point"

Poor Honey was baffled at the incoherence--he's a solid Democrat but likes to listen to all sides--Anyway, we went to the gas station, he went in to pay and he apparently heard part of it on the TV in there--came out just cussing and at a loss for words. Me, not helping matters, "I told you!"

I did her the words brilliant, fantastic, etc. multiple times - as if those were substantive answers to serious questions.

Since the brain-dead egomaniac has to have constant adulation, watch for him to call on his adoring, mouth-breathing Trumpsters to be in attendance at his next presser!
Really, it's something he would do. That way, he can hear them cheering, yelling his name and incite all of them to attack and boo the Media.
He's like a fucking crack addict with his need for praise.
