I kicked in $3 and the Act Blue tip.

After 3 and a half days of recounting the votes in the 21st district, here's where we stand:
When this process began, John Lehman was leading by over 830 votes. Currently, Lehman has a lead of 829 after counting over 35,000 votes. At this pace it is a sure thing that John Lehman will be the next Senator from the 21st district.
We have an army of volunteers at the Racine Courthouse for 12 hours every single day making sure that the Republicans can't pull any dirty tricks in this unnecessary and divisive recount. I need your help to make sure that we have the supplies to keep the volunteers going.
They aren't asking for much. Some coffee in the morning, bottles of water during the day, and maybe a sandwich at lunch.
I'm asking that you donate $3 to make sure that their tireless efforts are appreciated. Your $3 donation will ensure that everyone is fed and can stay through Friday when the recount ends.
The majority is at stake, we need our supporters in that room at the courthouse. Make sure they know we appreciate their efforts.
Your $3 will ensure that the majority we won on June 5th will be upheld.
In solidarity,
Mark Miller
Senate Majority Leader
Authorized and Paid for by the State Senate Democratic Committee, Jon Erpenbach, Treasurer

The first goal I knew about was $2,500. Look at where it is now.
