I was reminded of Ron Ziegler

For those too young to remember, he was Nixon's press secretary during Watergate. And there was a famous photo of Nixon shoving him to kinda go and do your duty.

So I wondered whether this is what Trump did to Spicer. Go and bash the media. Not that I feel sorry for him but it is clearly what is coming.

While Mr. Trump was eager to counterattack, several senior advisers urged him to move on and focus on the responsibilities of office during his first full day as president. That included a high-stakes trip to the headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency, where he had been coached to demonstrate support of the agency and criticize Senate Democrats for delaying confirmation of his nominee to lead it, Mike Pompeo. The advisers left thinking he agreed.

But Mr. Spicer, who often berated reporters for what he called biased coverage during the campaign, shares Mr. Trump’s dark view of the news media and advocated an opening-day declaration of war.

Kudos to Chuck Todd for facing Kellyanne about "alternative facts." Someday, I hope reporters will remind them that the media promoted Trump who did not have to spend a penny on ads.

Yes, they got more revenue and he got to go to the White House..

This is genius level spin

''The president is aware of what is going on in Southeast Asia. That is not to say anything is going on in Southeast Asia.''

Spicer is a hack.

I want to go back to hating people who are at least competent enough to realize that we hate them, and why
