It is pointless having hearings if the Republicans always vote in lockstep.

Any republican that asked any tough questions and acted like they were skeptical, it was all for show. I knew 100% Rubio would vote for Tillerson. He's the weakest follower of them all. He puts on a front like and he looks impressive then he caves.

If they had Mitt Romney, who is at least capable of acting like a statesman, as Secretary of State he'd desperately be looking to put liptstick on a pig. (Of course, the only reason Mitt Romney was floated as a possibility was so that Trump could engage in some pretty sick personal revenge against him and humiliate him, but that's besides the point.)
