I confess....

More than a decade has passed since I've watched Fox News. In addition, I've been mostly successful staying away from Morning Joe. Today, a combination of curiosity and failure of judgment caused me to tune into Morning Joe with Morning Mika. Quite frankly, I haven't been the same since.

The curiosity part of this made me wonder if Joe and Mika would finally, after such an extraordinary weekend, stop normalizing their friend, President Donald Trump. Certainly, I thought, they'll have to hold Trump accountable for his dark and disgusting inaugural address, his inexplicable meet and greet in front of "The Wall" at CIA headquarters, his lying press secretary and the embarrassing
ramblings of Kelly Ann Conway. It didn't happen in the substantive way one might expect from any random anchor who truly cares about his/her country and the people in it.

Joe spewed his standard crap that aims to convince viewers the Republican cesspool they're seeing is really some shiny beacon on a hill. Mika usually just nods in a forget-your-lying-eyes-and-listen-to-Joey stupor, but today she was really animated, apparently awash in their very special insider information.

The umpteen-ring circus we saw over the weekend had absolutely nothing to do with Ringmaster Trump. According to Mika, fault lies squarely on the shoulders of all those crazy elephants advising him. I ask you....what decent president would allow an "advisor" to talk him into standing before "The WALL" at the CIA and lie his ass off? Sorry I swore, but geez....

This is Trump's administration and the media should hold him accountable, no matter how much media elites fear that the truth might destroy their access. What decent person wants after-hours access to Donald Trump? I'm not buying one bit of this attempted normalization of Trump.
He's unprincipled, impulsive, and dangerous, regardless of what Joe and his nodding sidekick say.

The only way we can get that crap off of MSNBC is through ratings loss. CNN morning is better.

how else will Andy Lack get the message... No watching except for Lawrence and Joy Ann. I fear even Rachel has gone to the dark side.
