3 Million Marched? No, it was over 5 Million! And still collecting data and photos!

Since crowd size is such an important topic to Baghdad Sean and to Drumph, how about these apples.

It wasn't 2.9 million - that figure came about by media sources focusing their quick tallies from mainly the big coastal cities.

Which is ridiculous, as some small towns had much of their population (and sometimes most of their) total participate in a Sister March.

Here is a HuffPo article with great photos of small town marches:

Living In A Small Town Didn’t Stop These People From Starting Women’s Marches

As many as 700 marchers gathered in Carbondale, Colorado, a town of about 6,500 people, and formed a mile-long line of people.

ALSO, here is a link to a HuffPo article informing where to send your data about your small town and your backup resources to confirm:

How To Help Count The Number Of People Who Marched Around The Country
The number is well into the millions.

WASHINGTON ― In what may wind up being the biggest single-day demonstration in American history, millions of women and men took to the streets around the country Saturday to call for gender equality and express opposition to the Trump administration. How many millions is an open question.

Two professors are hoping to answer it, and you can help by sending in verifiable evidence of crowd sizes in your town or city.

Erica Chenoweth of the University of Denver and Jeremy Pressman of the University of Connecticut are overseeing the collection. Send them any info you’ve got on Twitter, and include whatever backup documentation exists. If you have a photo that wasn’t published anywhere, tweet it yourself and send that link. Chenoweth is @EricaChenoweth and Pressman is @djpressman on Twitter.

In that article, there is a Google form to help submit information about small town marches and your photos.

Here is the link to the actual Google Doc spreadsheet if you want to see the towns and totals for yourself.

so many more marched (and supported the March) than what we will ever know... I went to D.C. and our Capital, Montpelier, had 10,000-20,000 (as documented) but there were also many, many others that stayed in our small towns and villages that were vocal...

Local newspapers are reporting that St. Johnsbury (pop. 7500) near me, had 75+ people protesting in front of the Athenaeum and nearby Lancaster, NH (pop. 3000) reported 100's showed up to protest...

there is so much more support than we will ever know... time to act with all that support
