The center is just south of Port St. Joe and the forecast says it will be a little closer to Port St. Joe by 2 PM Wednesday:

The good news is that we need the rain. The bad news is that we didn't need six months of rain in a few days!

where this storm is going on.

Today, there were tornado warning in my neck of the woods. Thankfully, we did not get hit. Even so, I am paranoid, as I know the weather can blow houses to matchsticks.

plus a tornado, and lots of uprooted trees/downed power lines.

On the plus side - no one can say "we need rain" for a while The drought index for Florida must look pretty green right now...after Beryl and Debby within a month.

Other areas between 4 and 10 inches. Here in St Pete I had 7". Rain holding off for now, possibly more later. Lots of flooding, beaches were pummelled by heavy surf and high water. Sunshine Skyway Bridge still closed. Several tornados reported yesterday. Debby stalled in Gulf, we might have to deal with this weather a few more days.
