You who choose to bury your head in the sand....
Present your ass to the world!
Furthermore, from that position,
You can have no idea
Who is really screwing you.

(819 posts)You're "preaching to the choir".
Take that message out into the 'real' world. (I struggle with this myself....daily).

(17,863 posts)daily Fox talking point about how bad Obama is (traitor, socialist, etc). I get to start my morning surrounded by Republicans and Libertarians who hate Obama commenting on this talking point. My one ally just transferred.

(11,833 posts)If you get news from fox, your head's in the sand and ass in the air. From that position you can't even tell who is screwing you.
Thanks for sharing this!

(10,558 posts)My original was different:
If you choose to bury your head in the sand,
you expose your ass to the world!
So how can you tell me,
from that position
and without sounding stupid,
who it is that is really screwing you?
I thought it would be something George Carlin could have come up with. I added the fox news bit in order to post this here. In reality my thinking is that this would apply to those uninformed within our electorate who choose to tell me things like: "Well they are all crooks so it does not matter who we vote for". Another uninformed group of idiots used to tell me that we had to fight them over there so we would not have to fight them over here! Do you recall those who voted for bush for the second term because 'We can't change horses in mainstream'?
These people are still with us and it was for them I came up with my little saying. Undoubtedly it will go over their heads. I've a similar one for my fellow Americans. I am thinking about posting it here, sorta me going along with my DU name and like the 'real' Chicken Little, my message will likely anger many. The truth has that effect sometimes....not my truth, not your truth, but THE truth.
