We are past the time that they could do anything to help us. It is time for the people to start mobilizing. Sound dramatic? will there be an America this time next year? I am starting to doubt it.

Million illegal voters. The Dems now have an opportunity to be on the offensive for a change. He provided them with the perfect opportunity to call for an comprehensive independent investigation into the voting and election process.

The Dems Need To Call Trump On His Allegations And Make Him Put Up Or Shut Up.....

The Dems need to call for and push for a comprehensive independent investigation about his claims that "3 to 5 million people" had voted illegally in the 2016 election. They need to say if this president believes this to be true that it completely undermines the whole election process and actions need to be taken to prevent this from happening in further elections.

They need to say that such an investigation needs to be comprehensive in that it will involve a thorough review of the voting and the election process in each state and that this investigation should result in standardizing the voting and election process across all the states. This would result in the possibility of either paper ballot voting or standardized voting machines (same in all states); prohibit reporting of results of an election until all votes are in across the country and they are reviewed, audited and certified.

The American People need to be reassured that the process works and that their vote counts.

I believe that if the Dems push for such an investigation it will get the support of the American People or it will put Trump on notice that his lies have consequences and maybe prevent him from any future lies or putting out alternative facts.

Trump is also putting Ryan and the Repugs into a precarious situation. We all know that in order for the Repugs to win - they need to cheat somehow.

Ryan needs to prevent any investigation. Cause an investigation of the voting and election process might uncover any funny stuff that the Repugs pulled to rig the election or cheat.

The other outcome of such an investigation is that it would shoot holes through their continual allegations that there is voter fraud and that people vote more than once, etc. This has been said many times over - but it is ignored by the Repugs cause it provides them with the excuse for all sorts of voter suppression activities that the pull in the states that they control. Calling for such an investigation - the Dems put this out there as a big, big story. Especially - if the allegations are coming from the president himself. All eyes will be on this investigation. I think we can surmise that they won't find that 3 to 5 million people voted illegally - but they might uncover the dirty tricks the Repugs pull. The Repugs won't be able to ignore or hide this anymore.

Either way the Repugs lose cause we all know that 3 to 5 million people didn't vote illegally.

The American People need to be reassured that the process works and that their vote counts.

We need to stand up to this bully. This is a good opportunity to stand up to him. Put up or shut up Trump.

The integrity of our election process has been called in to question by the President of the United States. How can we not investigate and demand recounts to be sure our process is legitimate?
