In medieval times

In medieval times, only the jester was allowed to speak truth to the king. And since we can't count on the rest of our government for checks and balances -

Humor, satire, and mockery are what will save us.

He has an ego as big as all outdoors, a skin as thin as the finest French tissue paper, and the easily bruised feelings of a junior-high girl. No offense meant to junior-high girls.

No one else is brave enough to say that the emperor has no clothes.

Just my .02.

He hates being ridiculed. The only question is: what happens if we push him over the edge?

Therefore we should be cautious and hopeful.

Cautious, in what pushing such an unstable person over the edge might create.

Hopeful, in what the public might see before such an unstable person goes over the edge.

I fear that we may need to tread very carefully here. This is not going to be simple, or easy.

However, many of us have exposure beyond DU.

That's where we can all make a difference. DU can, and should be, a center to debate and form strategy. Knowing your posts here over the years, I am sure you would agree about that.

As always, my best to you, MM.
