We need an official pinned I contacted my representative thread.

I don't know if we have one of these or not, but I think there should be a comprehensive thread for this. One overall thread in general or something with links to a respective thread for each state. In the state thread we could give accounts of who we talked to, about what and when.

I've been emailing my reps and have attempted to place calls but the lines are ALWAYS busy. This combined with my suspicions that they don't even bother with the emails. Leads me to believe that we are going to need to organize the phone calls and keep records of successful and non successful attempts.

I'm pretty sure there are folks that read this site as a way to get the pulse of what's going on. Some of them might be media, some politicians or those that work with them, and yet others with not so pure intentions. In any case things seem like they are going to go from bad to worse unless we actively organize our objections. Hopefully, those reading that can affect positive changes in getting in contact with our reps will see the categorized contact efforts and pass something along outside of the normal email, call/recording, channels.
