I'm a bit suspicious of these leaks from the White House

Too many too quickly
Feels like a set-up of either the press or the staff there.

These leaks are coming from really close to the Oval Office. I know it's not that big of a building or staff so the field of possible leakers is pretty small. His inner circle is very small but there are more people near it due the normal WH staffing.

The part I've not understood is Priebus. He could be an extended celebration tour with donors but he took basically a 24/7 job. The establishment GOP-RNC hates Trump, that's pretty clear, so maybe Rense was their inside man (this could explain Romney taking one for the team trying to be SoS) but Bannon and Jared are going to be very protective of their property. Maybe he read the writing on the wall for not being able to do something to stop Trump from happening in the first place. I don't know.

Suspicious, maybe paranoid but it seems too much too quickly.

When the ship is sailing in troubled waters, the crew is going to question the captains ability. They aint going to do it to his face that's for sure. If the captain is not a stable sort especially.

Recently someone on DU compared the whole set up to "Caine Mutiny" Very apt description

You got the factions right Preibus/Spicer (establishment) vs Kushner/Bannon(Trumpians). Due to their extensive contacts, the establishment may have more backstabbing ability. OTOH, due to their inexperience, the Trumpians may spill the beans in passing ( when discussing things with a member of congress for example and they let a cat out of its bag)

Priebus is GOP, and a lot of GOP, including leadership, are not happy with Trump, tho they will of course use anything they can to benefit them.
the rest of the crew fall into political or non-political backgrounds.
Trump tends to trust Kushner because Kushner and his father are mirrors of Trump and his father, same business interests.
Conway and Bannon and some others are politically oriented.
and there is continuing news of infighting, struggles for influence and power.

Trump is so easy, from all that has been made public about him....just push one of his buttons, wait for him to get all excited, suggest a solution YOU wanted, and there you are.

Trump used to be a reality-TV star.
Bannon is basically a pundit.
Conway used to be a pundit.
And I'm sure the rank-and-file staffers are recruited from the glitzy world of the PR-industry where you play fast and loose with facts and image is everything.

That's their environment, that's their mindset. It's all about publicity and influence and fame.

I was trying to keep the OP short.

Another explanation is new staffers trying to establish themselves with the press.

Good point.

Just like Romney meeting with Trump. They met to 'repatriate' the money without paying taxes.

Romney spoke of it in his campaign. Why would Romney want to be SOS.

No, this negative news coming out of the White House is to make us take our eye off the ball.

Pence is in every photo I see, they don't want him out of the loop when they kick him to the curb, but they want us to believe that when Trump is gone, his agenda will go with him. That's not the case.
