Blue States Cannot Expect Federal Funds After Natural Disasters In The Future.

Trump's revenge to the states that voted for Hillary will probably take that form. If we remember Hurricane Sandy and what the GOP did to deny funds there, we can count on the same thing in the future. We are facing a practice that is not acceptable in this country. It might as well be called treason because you are destroying the unity of this country.

Of course, Mississippi and Georgia are still waiting. Well we have change and it is a disaster.

people in major disaster areas. He's just completely blind to the nature of his job and no one can or will tell him what he's supposed to be doing because he won't listen and he will retaliate.

Red state or blue state, we're all on our own now.

If the preamble to the constitution is no longer viewed as our nation's founding fathers' intentions, I, living in a "blue" state, want out.

That's what some of them did after Sandy, if I recall correctly. Of course, when their own state gets hit, they expect the funds to be released immediately with no strings attached.

federal aid to anyone, really. It's a natural cost-cutting measure. He will say, "The states have the resources to handle these disasters on their own." That he has not already named a FEMA head is evidence of his lack of concern for such issues.

He'll ignore disasters equally, regardless of where they occur. Except for Florida, if a disaster affects Mar a Lago or any of his other properties. Then, federal assistance will be rushed to the site.
