I went to bed at midnight with pages full of clouds and winds and warnings it was coming up thru Ga/Ala line
and woke up to find most of it is over Fla panhandle heading to the Atlantic.
Very curious that the NHC forecasts were all over the place.....not as accurate as I remember over the past 2 decades.
Is it my memory or them?

Here in St Pete it was fairly calm this morning, but the winds have picked up since noon. Storm has started drifting to NE, looks like a thursday landfall N of Cedar Key, then heading E across state. That may change, though. One thing is for sure, W Central Florida is going to be pummelled with the storm parked out there for several more days. Reminds me of Elena.

Sorry you guys have to have this one all to yourselves..all we are getting is brisk breezes, which at least makes 95 degrees feel a bit cooler.
