Trump would use troops in response to impeachment or deposition...

...or at least, he would try. And probably succeed. Any President, in any circumstances, could get *some* troops to support him. If anyone thinks this is "unthinkable"--well, this man has already broken all the barriers as to what has traditionally been thinkable. He's a psychopath. He would do anything to remain in power. I think Pence, McConnell, Ryan, and the rest all know this. I suspect they're secretly as appalled as everyone else, but have no clue as to what to do. I also think they're literally afraid for their own skins, either from the Madman himself or his supporters.

in the country?

Don't think D.C. has a National Guard so what troops would trump have the jurisdiction to call up and deploy inside the US?

be so sure of this? We are in unprecedented times politically, socially, culturally. We have a madman in the top position, underlings that are just as mad as this boy-potus and congressional representatives either in too weak a state numerically or in his own party, terrified of this new fuhrer...... '7Days in May' comes to mind, yet that was just a movie, this is real life with madmen and women steering this ship of state and lying about the icebergs right in front of us all.....

that's what I said...this is real life and NOT a movie....maybe you missed that. I do believe their are enough boy-potus supporters all the way up the chain of command of our military, all branches, that some real interesting situations could arise IF boy-potus tries to use active military to stay in power when people finally see through his madness and tries to impeach or otherwise deny this mad boy calling himself potus the office of President. That's all......have a good one.....

8. Read down that Twitter feed. This tweet, for example, is interesting:

(= Claiming that Ryan has to keep begging Priebus not to resign.)

Another further down, about how he never looks up from his phone and refuses to let the aides take it:
