By 2018 It Will Be Hard To Elect Dems. The GOP Will Be Able To Lock Up The Vote For GOP.

Unless we find a way to reverse these voter ID laws and stop voter suppression I do not see how we move forward. The voter fraud allegations are going to result in even more extreme anti voter laws. The GOP virtually controls the apparatus and the airwaves. And I do believe that the elections of 2010, 2014 were severely tainted. And 2016 was stolen outright.

We still have to register people and get people voting.

... suppression.

The USSC is an easy issue... let it go to 7 people or let the KGOP use the Super Nuke option... we'll eventually be able to use it ourselves after 30 or 40 years

They will grovel to bring home the bones Trump throws at them to no avail.
What we need are new candidates beholden to no one.

because she was leaning toward voting for that racist, Sessions, next week.

Then there's Senator Chris Coons of Delaware. Why is he capitulating??

Democrats need to show that they can *fight*. It is expected of them. NO ONE, not even Teabaggers, wants to support and vote for a weak candidate, no matter how conciliatory and/or diplomatic they believe they have to be. It's why we're having trouble winning elections (in addition to voter suppression, purges, shutting down polling places in heavily Democratic areas, etc) and have lost so many seats in the House and are barely holding on in the Senate.

Fight, stand strong for Democratic principles. Stop with the kumbaya. If anything, Republicans have shown this is the pathway to success and power.

unconstitutional and therefore, illegal but nothing's been done about it (Wisconsin).

TMN, you are 100% correct about all of this! I hope you don't have to change your handle to "Cassandra."

7. Being A Cassandra Is Difficult. Wisconsin Is A Good Example That The GOP Will Ignore The Courts.

The GOP has shown it will let Trump violate law and the Constitution. Even though the courts order them they will just be in contempt. And if you own the state government you just break the law. Governor Walker in Wisconsin has already violated the law by making the capitol off limits. His state patrol will beat you and arrest you if you try to protest. So unless you are willing to get shot by trying to over run the state patrol you are screwed.

I do believe that the GOP will authorize 2nd amendment solutions for protest. Yes what I am saying is extreme. Think about they are telling you that they will TOLERATE NO RESISTANCE. Read between the lines.

And they will have a stacked SCOTUS.

Sadly we are welded to a very outdated Constitution that can be skirted by these corrupt aholes.

Gerrymandering, voter suppression, drafting laws to remove the power of the democratic successors, utter disdain for compromise, blatant science denial, etc. They don't care about what the opposition thinks, nor do they care about playing by the rules.
