..........* REPUBLICANS WONDER HOW TO PAY FOR TRUMP’S PROPOSALS:
Congressional Republicans are in the midst of a two-day “strategy session,” and the Post reports this about some of the discussions underway there:

One point of tension between Trump and lawmakers was on an infrastructure bill. … No details, such as a price tag or structure, were discussed, multiple members said. … Paying for Trump’s proposals remains an unexplored subject. Many hard-line conservatives previously opposed large policy changes that would add greatly to the deficit, as many of Trump’s proposals could.

Repeat after me: Republicans don’t care about the deficit when the president is a Republican. This will happen again: enormous tax cuts for the rich and lots of grand spending on Trump’s dreams.

from Medicaid and $449 billion from Medicare. He has said so. Kill the poor and the elderly by denying them healthcare and maybe they'll save a little in SNAP and subsidized housing. They'll be able to pay for the damn wall and Trump's pathetic look-over-there "voter fraud" wild goose chase on the backs of our most needy and vulnerable citizens.

The wealthy will be getting their tax breaks so they won't be paying for it.

manner that the GOP pays:

There will be a tax cut for the rich.
That will stimulate the economy and add jobs.
Taxes paid by those newly employed workers will pay for the proposals.

It has not worked previously, but the GOP assures us, it will work this time.

Just because Boss Tweed wants something doesn't mean Congress has to give it to him. That goes for a GOP-dominated one as well. "Just say NO"
