New development about that wall

BREAKING NEWS: Mexico President Enrique Pena Nieto announces "Escalera Tax," a 20% tax on the $236 Billion in goods imported from the US to Mexico. (Machinery, electronics, agriculture, etc.)
Pena Nieto said the tax revenue would be used to buy 32,000 extension ladders to be placed every 100 yards along the 2,000 mile "Trump Wall," rendering it useless. Pena Nieto said he could get a good deal on ladders from their other major trading partner, China, at about $30 each, for a total under $1 million.
Speaking through a translator, Nieto said the ladder tax will leave Mexico with over $47 Billion left over to give back to the people of Mexico to help cover any costs from the "Wall Tax" by that "pinche pendejo" from the north, more than defraying price increases for Mexicans buying US cars and shopping at the hundreds of Walmarts and Home Depots in Mexico.
This is a great windfall for the Mexican people, "Muchisimas gracias, Presidente Trump!" concluded the Mexican President.
