Mary Louise Kelly and NPR

Mary Louise Kelly refused to use the word lie in reporting about the yam this week. NPR on the Morning Edition show this Wednesday January 25th defending that position. I am having a great deal of difficulty in deciding to keep my donation going to them. While I have heard how conservative slash right wing they have become the local station still provides a major service. Are any DU numbers reconsidering their donations. This weekend I will be writing letters to the local NPR station and the national office on paper expressing my deep concern about Mary Louise Kelly choosing to not call out a lie.

Neither is as good as I want, but I give money to both because they are about all we have.

My local station plays BBC overnight as well as locally-produced varied varieties music shows. At this point that is the biggest reason I will keep donating. The national office is like the obnoxious cousin at the family reunion, they're still family but are they obnoxious.
