The Admins decide what they want on this website. It belongs to them. If they don't want additional forums, they will not create them.

Their site. Their decision.

Discussing it in General Discussion will not convince them, I guarantee.

The general should cover a wide range of discussions outside of politics. A lot is going to sink fast because of the oxygen sucking Trump.

I'm not being blind to what's going on or not paying attention, but there are times where for my own sanity I don't want to engage and focus on other news. I can NOT find other news easily in GD anymore.

Some of the best stuff gets ignored. Also, it gives people a break from all things Trump.

There has always been a politics forum; I wonder why the admins chose not to create one.

It's called 'Latest Threads,' and it's the only place I go to see the latest of everything - including, as of late, Lounge threads, presumably moved there by watchful GD overseers.
