Drump is engaged in an extraordinary diplomatic row with the Prince of Wales over climate change..

I am hoping William and Harry will push back and refuse to meet him..

Donald Trump is engaged in an extraordinary diplomatic row with the Prince of Wales over climate change that threatens to disrupt his state visit to the UK.

The new president is reluctant to meet the prince when he comes to Britain in June because of their violently divergent views on global warming.

Members of Trump’s inner circle have warned officials and ministers that it would be counterproductive for Charles to “lecture” Trump on green issues and that he will “erupt” if pushed. They want the younger princes, William and Harry, to greet the president instead. Royal aides insist that he should meet Trump.

Senior government officials now believe Charles is one of the most serious “risk factors” for the visit.

I've been saying six months to my family and thinking two. Now even two months seems too much the way they're going. Two months. The free press and the internet will be the next to go. Television news will just knuckle under.

After that, I'm afraid that even if Congress tries to impeach and remove him, he won't go. Even if the Supreme Court rules against him, he won't obey.

The Duchess of Cornwall and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge along with the other senior royals (the Queen's children and cousins and their respective spouses) attend state dinners. William (and his wife Catherine) is the only grandchild of the Queen who attends state dinners.

William and Catherine only just started attending state dinners and functions in the last few years. Harry has never attended a state dinner or been part of an official state visit.

Prince William, Prince Harry and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, had a special relationship with the Obamas which involved their respective charitable works and patronages along with a genuine respect and friendship.

For the sake of Queen and country, PM May should cancel or postpone the official US State Visit.
