I've never protested before, but the refugee ban was the last straw. I am the product of immigrants and refugees, as are ultimately most Americans, and this finally motivated me to stand with others against Trump.
After exiting the train at the airport, I just happened to pass my Representative, John Lewis, and I got to shake his hand and thank him. From there I made my way to the crowd which was perhaps 5k-10k people (I'm not a judge of crowd size so that could be wrong). The protest area was just outside the Domestic Terminal, and the police had closed off the far two travel lanes and were allowing protesters on all of the sidewalks. The crowed skewed young, but people there were of every age and ethnicity. I only stayed an hour, but this experience gives me hope that we will make it through these next four years. If nothing else, we have each other.
Also, a big shout out to the Atlanta Police, MARTA, and the airport staff who were all very polite and accommodating.

And thank you for standing up and speaking out! I've been to a couple of protests - but nothing like this! Great pix and great job!
