Immigration ban may mean end of Los Angeles' Olympic bid

The International Olympic Committee votes in September whether to award sport’s biggest event to LA, Paris or Budapest, and one of the officials who will decide their fate condemned on Saturday what was among Trump’s first acts since taking office.

IOC member Richard Peterkin, of St Lucia, posted on Twitter: “Trump’s Executive Order on immigration is totally contrary to Olympic ideals. For him, collective responsibility trumps individual justice.”

to pick.

while i have many criticisms of the olympics i have been thinking that LA would be a good place to hold the games. but only if Trump is no longer in office.

We could get a lot of light rail and subways built with that money.

You know Mr. Egomaniac probably never ever thought of that. Hell even Putie Poot got an Olympics. That would be Trump's shining fun thing to pay attention to for months.

How about international conferences?

Training of Iraqi military experts

How about training pilots for airlines that want to purchase Boeings? Before they can integrate the aircraft they have to log minimum hours which usually happens at Moses Lake, Washington

The GOP cheered.

They will see LA losing the bid as yet another victory against the liberals.

That's the kind of people we are dealing with.

Steve Bannon: “I’m a Leninist. “Lenin wanted to destroy the state, and that’s my goal too. I want to bring everything crashing down, and destroy all of today’s establishment.”
