I think its time for Obama and other former presidents to speak up.

Yeah, I know its frowned upon for presidents to remark on the actions of other presidents, but the country is in a crisis. If former presidents speak up it will add a lot of weight to the resistance.

Obama, Clinton, Carter, and even W.

No need for anyone to pretend there is anything normal about what is happening now.

This isn't a matter of policy differences between presidents.

This is an all out attack against every institution in America.

This is an all out attack on our democracy. And as damaged as it already is, it can get worse if people choose to remain silent or act as if it will somehow work itself out.

Anyone thinking a president should get to govern as they best see fit, even if it goes against our laws and our traditions, even as it destroys our country, is someone who doesn't give a rat's ass about America.

An America president who thinks they are above the law is no longer an American president. They are a threat to our country, her people, and our democracy.

They are thugs who should be ousted and jailed for attempting to subvert our government from within.

Enemies of the state can reside in public office. It's time to stop pretending that isn't happening.

distraction at this point. Let the current officeholders, the media, and the scores of people who have taken to the streets handle this. Pres. Obama should keep his distance from this debacle, he has no power to implement anything, and I personally feel that the current administration would only crank up the crazy even more if PBO, who hasn't been out of office for a month, got involved.

I am more confident each day that this Presidency is going to self destruct.

when he told FOX that the Pretender had asked him for a "Muslim ban" that would pass legal muster. Lawyers for the ACLU are going to shove that statement right up the Whitehouse's collective ass hole in their arguments before the courts on intent and impact.

It already did. It's just that anything qualifies as "business as usual" for Congressional Republicans. It's going to take time for the stunning gravity of the aggregation of Trump's "achievements" to register.

The problem is his instability. He's not about the GOP, only about his own egomania.

I think they will all be wearing the stench of this administration for quite some time, once it becomes apparent to people just what has happened to this country because of DT and his whole party.

Once he truly becomes toxic, they will dump him. Not because it's the right thing but for self-preservation.

Trump isn't a career politician and doesn't give two shits about the Republican Party. Ryan and the GOP congress critters are career politicians who have a vested interest in the success of their party.

I think he may be gone before the 2018 midterms.

1000+ radio stations that will be screaming hate toward those presidents and their families, more loudly and pointedly now that they're out of the white house, inciting teabags to attack

they get a free speech free ride, hiding behind call screeners. democrats could do more just by finally destroying the talk radio monopoly - Students can amplify protests at state capitols and town halls w/out leaving campus.

easy for us to say.

It is NOT the time for former President Obama to do anything but enjoy his vacation with his family. He took this country crap for eight years -- with people throwing crap at him, Michelle, and even their Kids Sasha and Malia. Even Barack's Sister's, Brother's plus deceased Mother, Grandmother, and Grandfather were thrown into the mix.

So NO -- it is not the time for the "Black Guy" that tried everything to save this country from Trumpskin Nazi Land to come back at all. If he wants to be on Vacation, then so be it. HE EARNED THAT. If he wants to say nothing then so be it. HE EARNED THAT. If he wants to let it simmer for a while. HE EARNED THAT TOO.

Focus on the folks that voted the racist mental case in the White House. Starting with the so-called White Women that felt "so much suppose pain" over the "Obama Years" they voted this Crazy Racist into the White House. Next, turn to the White Men that could not STAND President Obama and his SCANDAL FREE African-American family running the Country in a straight up EXCELLENT WAY.

Oh, and focus on the "but we will sit out because" element or "those Millennial know it alls" that voted for Jill FREAKING NEVER HAD A REMOTE CHANCE TO WIN Stein or worst POP-UP EVERY FOUR YEARS candidate Gary Johnson -- for the straight up HOT ASS MESS we have with his Reichstag Crew of Idiots Running things at 1600 Penn Avenue.

Not only no, but HELL NO - Barack Obama does not need to say diddy -- unless HE AND HE ALONE chooses too.

Guilty Tripping Barack Obama's way needs to be stepped RIGHT ON BACK with FORCE and with a Swimming Pool full of water before the simmer built in any way to a fire.

Signed - The African-Americans Supporters of Former President Barack Obama!!!
