On Facebook. Numerous People Arrested At Sen Gardner's Office. Some Were Disabled. No Permit.

In Denver you have to have permission from the police to protest or demonstrate. Otherwise you get arrested. Why the fuck to you have to have permission to exercise your first amendment rights?.

The police cordoned off the area where Occupy was. They also stopped an ticketed cars going through the area that honked their horns in support. Now Denver has a sleeping ban. If you lay down on the sidewalk you can be arrested or ticketed.

from literally ripping the blankets off freezing homeless people to threatening people with arrest for having a copy of the Constitution with them is authoritarian as hell

This is NOT how a Democratic run city is supposed to be, this is the kind of shit you'd expect from a city ruled by 'Baggers.

Every time Mayor Mikey gets on tee vee and starts to blather on about "compassion" and "community" I break out in guffaws.
