GO SAMANTHA BEE: Samantha Bee is planning a DC event that Trump is going to hate

Source: Mashable

Samantha Bee is throwing a party in DC and it's safe to say President Trump won't be in attendance.

The comedian announced Monday the "first annual 'Not the White House Correspondents' Dinner,'" which will take place on Saturday, April 29 at The Willard Hotel in Washington, D.C. (the same night as the annual WHCD).

"Executives at TBS offered their full support of the gala by nodding politely and then muttering under their breath as we turned around," said Bee in a release. "The evening is sure to bring plenty of surprises, music, food, and laughter—and if you're not careful you just might learn something. Specifically, you’ll learn how screwed we'd be without a free press."

All proceeds for "Not the White House Correspondents' Dinner" will go to the Committee to Protect Journalists, with celeb attendance at the event to be announced at a later date.

He's less abrasive than his former "character," but by no means would I call Colbert unbiased as to his views and the commentary on his show.

It was a devastating when he left the Colbert Report. He was the one who could most often give me the release and comfort of laughter and sharp wit through the worst back then. I was disappointed by the banality of his early Late Shows, but he's back.

Letting his critics say what they would, and always treated them with respect. Cheney went on tv and criticized the man (wrongly, to be sure) on a regular basis, and Obama never lost his cool. 8 years of this and Obama kept his head about;him If Trump can't last 8 DAYS, then fuck him if he can't take a joke.

Obama WILL speak his mind through action (in getting more Dems elected).

I'd be more inclined to think he may decline to speak. OTOH he does get a chance to really insult the press. Some say Trump made up his mind to run for president after Pres Obama zinged him at the last dinner Trump attended.

Nor does almost anybody I know in Europe....

Most of those I know are frightened to death. If nothing else, of being invaded by Russia, Actually it has already started...

So many scenarios.....

1-Russia continues destabilization, invades Hungary, Romania, Balkans, US joins in.. POOF... done...

2-Already shit happening in Ukraine
