Should I tell my Republican Senators and Rep that the Bannon/NSC decision is bad?

I have the strange notion that the general or admiral heading the JCS knows a bit more about national security than the operator of a political media web outlet. It'd be like if I had cancer: I could see the senior oncologist at Sloan-Kettering...or I could see Skinner.

No. All they hear is "blah, blah, blah, blah" and do nothing

Sure! It makes it easier for the secret police to arrest you as a defeatist. Saves time.

The trick is not to just send a one-off. If we all sent our concerns frequently, that is when they start paying attention. Imagine if everyone on DU sent daily emails to all the republican senators in their state. After you do this for awhile, you get personal, non-form letter responses.

but, yeah, of course contact them but make it in THEIR interest to listen to you. i.e., feed to the long "heralded" respect the Reagan Republicans (supposedly) have had for the military and national defense/security and "shouldn't we have the BEST and most informed" minds in that regard?...blah, blah, blah

So I reckon I'll have to follow suit.

Early on in this thing, Sasse seemed to have some backbone when it came to Trump. Maybe he can find it again.
