Sally Quillian Yates: The Next Junior Senator From Georgia.

Last edited Tue Jan 31, 2017, 04:23 AM - Edit history (1)

Looks like we just found our Senate Candidate for Georgia in 2020. Sally Quillian Yates: the first Democrat to show some spine, and take a principled stand against THE WORST PRESIDENT IN HISTORY. Hopefully she has now set an example for others. It's really not THAT hard to show some guts, even if it means losing your job. There are things more important in life than job security. Something hardly anybody else on Capitol Hill realizes.

Edit: PS-Thanks for the ADVICE, Jeff Sessions! Made sure she understood that an A.G. should NOT enforce an unconstitutional order from the President.

Not only does she have principles, but she put them on the line with her job. Something unbelievably rare in Washington. Lots of the people there TALK a big game, but very few ever put their jobs on the line.

CASE IN POINT: a bunch of chickenshits in the FBI who disagreed with not prosecuting Hillary. Rather than resign, they just leaked to the newspapers, and various other cowardly things.

I like the example Yates has set a lot better.

Just like the Mayor of Boston, Marty Walsh. There are people on the right side of history who can lead.
