Trump & Co. Likely To Purge Federal Agencies And Demand Only Loyalists.

I do believe the Trump administrations will work at scrubbing the federal government of anyone not fully loyal to them. Even if you are civil service you can be harassed. You can be put in positions where you have no work to do. And your life cane made so miserable you have to quit.

We are now seeing that we have a madman with enough Trumpers supporting him to gut the entire federal government over time. Anything is possible with Trump. His sick paranoid personality must have complete loyalty and obedience to his every whim. So civil service offers little protection. And I am sure the GOP will help him dismantle the civil service system.

I have worked under a civil service system and even though you have protections there are so many ways to harass and persecute you that it is not even funny. If they want to screw you they can. And I am sure Trump will.

It's one thing for a boss to harass one worker. But to harass many thousands and thousands of them across the country would take a structure that would take a long time to construct.

Think about it. Can you imagine trying to harass practically whole departments into quitting? The court cases alone would drag on and on.

Appointees are a different animal. But line staff are numerous. I guess they could just plain eliminate departments. But then the fit can hit the shan when the public doesn't get the services it has come to expect.

Just my random thoughts on all this. Otherwise I'd never sleep again.
