Serious question about Court Orders and US Federal Marshals

Word on Twitter is that the US Federal Marshals are refusing to enforce the Federal Court orders at airports (forcing CBP officers to allow attorney's to meet with detainees).

If the US Marshals, on orders from the US Atty, are refusing to follow the courts' order, what good is the court?

That's where we are now. Is *this* a Constitutional crisis yet?

Question based on this tweet from journo Charlotte Silver:

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) is a federal law enforcement agency within the U.S. Department of Justice (see 28 U.S.C. § 561). It is the oldest American federal law enforcement agency,[4] which was created by the Judiciary Act of 1789. The Marshals Service is attached to the Judicial branch of government, and is the enforcement arm of the federal courts. It is the primary agency for fugitive operations, responsible for prisoner transport, the protection of officers of the court, and for the effective operation of the judiciary. The Marshals Service operates the Witness Protection Program, and serves federal level arrest warrants.[5]>>>

...he just may be a Trump guy. There's just something about him that has that feel.

Now Tommy Lee Jones - maybe he's the man. Given that he was Al Gore's room mate in college, it's likely he's got some of that good liberal blood running through his veins.

If law enforcement is refusing to enforce to enforce the law, they need to be confronted by a superior force, at gunpoint, if need be, and be informed in no uncertain terms that their job is to enforce existing law. They should either do their jobs as the law dictates, stand down, or be mowed down as rebel forces hostile to the United States.

It needs to be put down in no uncertain terms, or it will become the rule and not the exception. The Germans have a very apt expression: "Frechheit siegt," which basically means "go for it with enough arrogance and no one will stand in your way," and MAN do they have the history to back THAT up. Obviously constitutional remedies remain the PREFERRED resistance. However, if and when they fail, we need a backup plan, or that Constitution really does become "just a piece of paper," and not the basis for how our country is governed.

On Edit: I expect writs to be filed with the Supremes within the fortnight. We will have more clarity as to our path very soon. This is incredibly difficult to explain to my 13 yo granddaughter and 15 yo grandson who live with me.

The other one now lives in the States, although in Midtown Manhattan, where she is among like-minded people for the most part. They are now both over 30. As both were born and grew up in Germany, where recent history is taught in detail, they are under no illusions about the danger we suddenly face.

* People arriving in the U.S. are being detained without access to counsel in defiance of multiple clearly stated court orders.

* The rule of law in the U.S. can not be relied on.

* If Donald Trump orders that you cannot enter the U.S., you will not be allowed to enter the U.S.

* If Donald Trump orders that you will be detained indefinitely when setting foot in the U.S., you will be detained indefinitely.

* If Donald Trump orders that you are to be separated from your traveling companions, your family members, even your children, you will be so separated.

* If Donald Trump orders that your belongings be confiscated and searched, they will be confiscated and searched.

* If Donald Trump orders that you will be interrogated, perhaps harshly, you will be interrogated -- even your children.

* If Donald Trump orders that you should disappear --- then you disappear.

Airports should become ghost towns, populated only by protesters and workers.

Just the first one today, calm down.

Now when Dear Leader starts loading democrats, PoC, immigrants, press and intellectuals into the cattle cars for a ride to the camps...then you can start worrying!
