I DO NOT Want Senate Democrats To Block EVERY SCOTUS Nominee That Trump Puts Forward.

After all, we want to appear reasonable, rational, and cooperative. In public, anyway.

Just say...this one is too far out of the main stream...put forward a more reasonable candidate and we'll vote for him/her...blah blah blah...

I just want them to block anybody to the right of Michael Moore. That's all.

Want to nominate Bernie Sanders to the Supreme Court? Great! We're all for that!

that nomination belonged to President Obama. The Pubs weren't reasonable or rational in depriving him of it.

I say deprive them of the nomination as long as humanly possible.

Trump's picks.

The GOP will know it, but the Dems won't admit it publicly. It'll make their heads explode with frustration.

Keep the SCOTUS at 8 until another slot comes up, then whoever is Prez gets to fill that one. The one missing now belongs to a Dem president.

If they offer a qualified moderate that's at least 60 yo, we might consider it. Anyone to the right of Garland is a nonstarter.

He's just sitting there quietly, hoping nobody notices him. Because, if they do, they might notice that he handed in false tax returns for 20 years.
