We must block him then. They have no grounds at all to cry "obstruction" after what they did for eight years. Big test for Schumer to round up the votes of Senators like Heitkamp, Tester, Manchin and even Coons.

"The court has been functioning just fine with 8 justices. We should not be hasty. We need to let the people have a say in who the next justice is, when they select the next President of the United States."

It makes no more sense for Republicans to have said this for an entire year than it would for Dems to say it for 4 years. Period.

Any Dem who votes in any way for this guy or for him to proceed in any way should get a primary challenger. Period.

As a matter of fact chris said he couldn't imagine one democrat voting in favor of this Scalia lite judge.

21. Is this based on his rulings?

Or on their perception of him? Because I'm under the impression (and I know it's early as he was just announced an hour or two ago) that his rulings were not as right as Scalia, but his statements and perception of him were far right.

Just not sure what to make of this (or anything anymore).
