A second coup in the White House?

If Steve Bannon, Steve Miller, and General Flynn felt that they were able to pull off a coup to take over the government and control Trump, the push-back from the Senate-confirmed Secretaries of Homeland Security, Secretary of Defense, and Secretary of State may have wrested the power back to people who actually follow and uphold the law. I love this quote from the article:

Respectfully but firmly, the retired general and longtime Marine told Bannon that despite his high position in the White House and close relationship with Trump, the former Breitbart chief was not in Kelly’s chain of command, two administration officials said. If the president wanted Kelly to back off from issuing the waiver, Kelly would have to hear it from the president directly, he told Bannon.

and even though this sounds like a welcome turn,
I can't help but think "we're being fed this story for a reason".

I am skeptical of all of it. All the leaks real? Are some real and some fake. Is it just to throw us off?

I figure the Trump administration is full of spies and counter spies. They are all in it for profit.

There is so much subterfuge going on behind the scenes. I don't see the trust with all parties involved, I some of them double crossing others.
