If you can afford a subscription, the NY Times and the WA Post are two of the national media you should consider. Also, consider a "donation" to UK's "The Guardian" -- another paper that has consistently good reporting.
If the traditional media aren't supported financially, then the only media left will be the kind that survives on click-bait.
