On cooperating with Drumpf, the Deplorables, and the GOP

When was the last time in the modern era the GOP did something to help the little guy?

Stumped, hah...

The closest thing was in 2003 when George W. Bush prodded the Congress to expand Medicare by offering a prescription drug benefit.

Having faith that Drumpf will do something for the little guy is akin to having the faith of a child.

Democrats eventually did. NOW Republicans in Congress are looking for ways to get away with drastic cuts, and then repeal. Threat of backlash from conservative voters who still need to down more of their drugged kool-aid is all that holds them back.

by insisting that the drug companies set the prices and that bidding would not take place.

While I'm sure some seniors with expensive meds are being helped, they're not being helped as much as the drug companies are.

for the consumers, instead of revving up that giant vacuum, by persuading them to support controls on drug prices. But no.
