Could the reign of Dolt 45 (saw that earlier and like it)

Spark a new, and much needed, interest in civics, political involvement and understanding of the how the government is SUPPOSED to function?

All of the crap this one and his team are pulling is prompting a lot of discussion on news broadcasts about how things are set up in the constitution such as the judiciary being a separate and independent branch of the government.

I wonder sometimes how many American voters actually comprehend how the system was intended to function and that the three branches of government are actually co-equal.

Just trying to find something to be positive about and this and the possible reemergence of actual investigative journalism are all I have so far.

listened to the Judges talking to the lawyers about the ban. And that was pretty dry, from a non-wonk entertainment point of view. I expect that as their healthcare gets pulled, and their SS payments & medicare start to shrink.. It Will get people's attention

If the orangitan had a brain, he'd rescind it and write something that could pass muster.

checks and balances within the government.

It appears he believes that the executive branch is the final authority on everything and that congress and the judiciary are only there to support HIS agenda and drive HIS policy desires.

I really don't think a lot of people, American citizens no less, actually understand the way government is supposed to function or what role the three branches are supposed to play.
