(7,432 posts)Frankly, I think that if the SC denies a hearing, it would be a better outcome. Trumpy then couldn't keep playing up the drama, and the SC would signal to Trumpy that his case is awful and doesn't deserve a hearing.

(82,849 posts)By the time the Supreme Court gets a petition, the need for the temporary injunction may have expired. There's no pressing legal reason for the Court to get involved at this point, and it is a far better use of judicial resources to turn this back to the U.S. District Court in Washington state for a full briefing on the merits, hearing, and decision.
Poor POUTY has a sad tonight.
