Among other things it puts a negative spotlight on Republicans in Congress, not just the bright shiny destructive object that is Trump. I am increasingly convinced that we will be dealing with a President Pence and his arch conservative Republicans before long, Trump will not last. Republicans in congress voted to defund the ACA dozens of times before Trump even announced for President. They can't slide out from under a backlash against them for opposing Obamacare by skillfully distancing themselves from Trump a few months down the line after he is on the way out. Congressional Republicans are the ones running for reelection in 2018 They are the ones we have to defeat first to take back our government.

Not to mention that millions of people's lives are on the line damn it. The rallies have to be numerous and large.
