What did the FBI know and when did they know it?

...when did Comey learn this and what did he do about it? Who did he inform? We know all about the emails he was hawking, why didn't the American people (Congress) know about these contacts by the Trump campaign with Russia BEFORE the election?

No wonder Trump's bashing the NYT and other media. They look to be the ONLY investigative process fully engaged right now.

If Russia interfered and plotted with Trump to throw the election, the entire Trump/Pence ticket is tainted. If Republican leadership knew and refused to investigate why should they get to choose who becomes president.

This is a moral issue and justice should be paramount. Sometimes a country has to figure out a way to do the right thing.

Personally I think once Trump's back is up against a wall he will figure his options and try to make a deal for himself.

If we had a Congress composed of honorable, patriotic people those people would do the following:

They would strike a deal which would include one of the following mechanisms.

1. Trump resigns/Pence is sworn in for a few hours and Clinton is selected as VP, then Pence resigns.

2. Pence resigns, Trump selects Clinton as VP, then Trump resigns.

I know we do not have such a Congress-we have a dominant party many of whose members are self-serving, dishonest, greedy, unpatriotic, anti-democratic bullies. Nevertheless we must insist and persist. Otherwise the next 3 years will be sheer hell for the Republican Party, and we will all be very busy.

As part of its inquiry, the F.B.I. has obtained banking and travel records and conducted interviews, the officials said.

tax returns period. Democrats say they are going to use a law from 1924 for 45 to show his returns.

Not only is the NYT writing about this. BBC and the Guardian are reporting this.
