I admit I was a supporter but I became thoroughly disillusioned with Wikileaks & Assange's actions before the election.
Wikileaks were tweeting-right up until election day - links to the ridiculous @pizzagate faux scandal.

This latest tweet should vanish any doubts that Wikileaks and Assange are partisan political players who worked on Trump's behalf.

As for Assange perhaps thinking Trump may be his saviour, I think Trump & his partner Vlad Putin are the sort who dispense with witnesses to their machinations.

only interested in leaks that would damage the Democratic Party. He's not a 'neutral' 'whistle-blower' who shines the light on illegal activities by government. All through the election, almost all of what Wikileaks was releasing was just trash-talk gossip that hand nothing to do with illegal activities. It was mostly just stuff from Podesta's email showing Democratic operatives in a bad light. Telling off-color, offensive jokes. People trashing Chelsae Clinton. It was 100% rat-fucker material. Exactly the same kind of stuff Nixon was after when he had somebody break into Daniel Ellsberg's psychiatrist's office.
