... and one that Trump took credit for (even though he had absolutely nothing to do with the actual workings).

Or am I mistaken? Am I thinking of something ELSE that Trump tried to take credit for that was already finalized without his input?

and IMO this was Trump's way of getting Pence stuck in his orbit.

I've tried to find the fine print that the Indiana legislators was suppose to enact, but all I got was it's pending.
