Trump needs some pumping up so it's back to Florida this weekend.

Politico:

The president will hold a rally Saturday afternoon at a hangar in Melbourne, Florida. It will be his first campaign-style rally since his so-called thank-you tour during the transition period to states he won in November.

“Join me in Florida this Saturday at 5pm for a rally at the Orlando-Melbourne International Airport!” Trump tweeted from his personal Twitter handle, along with a link for supporters to RSVP.

The return to campaign form, if only for a day, is likely a welcome addition to Trump’s presidency. The early stages of his administration have been marred by damaging leaks compounded by withering criticism from the media, massive protests against his policies and Cabinet nominees, an increasing number of potential investigations against him and his allies, and some solitude, as his wife and 10-year-old son have spent most of their time in New York.

Saturday, however, will put Trump on friendly turf, likely in front of thousands of raucous supporters and a pool of TV cameras, a chance to be the sole star on stage after holding bilateral news conferences alongside Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday and Wednesday, respectively.

Makes me wonder: How many Trump protesters will show up?

It wasn’t exactly a YUGE turnout.

A rally in support of President Donald Trump and his immigration ban in Portland, Maine, on Saturday is drawing attention on social media for all the wrong reasons: only a handful of people showed up, according to footage from local CBS station WGME.

“I’m just kind of letting you know there’s another side to the story,” Trump supporter Doug Prevost told the station. “Letting people know [Trump] has an awful lot of backers behind him.”

There appeared to be eight people at the rally.

Seriously, what is Trump doing that could be loosely interpreted as governing or leadership? He's only interested in the limelight, the adoration the masses, and he'll ignore everything else to be under the spotlight on a red carpet at centerstage with the trumpets blaring and confetti raining down.

Have to go through checkpoints on US1, total shutdown of Southern Blvd, which is the route to Mar-a-Lago and you have to get there real early to get into the protest lining that route.

Totally screwing up businesses in the surrounding area too.

I never thought I'd be happy to see The Season end before this.

Puddles has already canceled one event in Ohio this week. They're having it at an airport because it's a tightly controlled environment. They'll probably screen everyone out who isn't a white make over 50. He's a virtual prisoner of the WH. That and Mar-a-Loco, the Winter Nuthouse.
