So why should the American people trust you when you say you had the greatest vote margin? That was the gist of it. Kudos to the reporter who asked it. Trump's answer is that this is the information he was given.

He claims someone else gave him bad information, even if he repeated it endlessly and never checked on it. Of course, he checks on nothing, does no research of his own, parrots cable news shows, and says what he thinks should be true.
