Trump's response to the question of whether any of his campaign officials had contact with the Kremlin during the election was "Not as far as I know." His response was a lie because we know Trump was briefed on contacts between his campaign staffers and Russian intelligence operatives. The usual hedge "not as far as I know" is contradicted by reports that have been public for two days now.
