Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI am absolutely seething about tbe GOP and the ignorance of many Americans
Both are apparently OK with an ex-KGB agent being able to blackmail the President of the United States and are oblivious to this same man putting banned missiles in Europe.
Neither seem to have an issue with a Russian spy ship patrolling up and down the Eastern Seaboard and a President who doesn't understand what a junior in high school knows about the 3 branches of government.
Both were fine with wasting 40 + million dollars and 4 years investigating non-scandal with Benghazi, but with a straight face say no investigation of Trump is needed.
White nationalism with Nazi overtones is mainstream and we are losing allies around the globe. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON??????
I am stuck in a twilight zone episode.

(32,084 posts)I've been perusing #TrumpPressConference tweets on Twitter. His cult followers think it was "The. Best. Press. Conference. Ever.", and that he "schooled the media." SAD!

(531 posts)it was bad enough when we had the rt wing media and the left media and now since trump knows no one supports him he is brainwashing his followers to distrust all media. I mean, something tells me these folks are not avid readers anyway so it is no loss on their part but my god.

(3,208 posts)I was reading them and twitter suggested his feed. I clicked on it on a whim. I checked out the people he follows on Twitter. Whoa! He is very limited in his news sources. All low end stuff. I think he can't really understand the others. That is why he calls them "fake" and "bad". And he is saying it over and over because that's how he gets his followers and supporters to believe it.

and I know it's not considered good form to make comparisons to Hitler, but that's not what I was thinking. In the movie, the Woman in Gold, gentiles enjoyed seeing successful and intellectual Jews "put in their place." It feels like that's what's going on here. Anyone who spent their time on "fancy book learnin'" needs to be brought down a notch.

(2,535 posts)Going to have another one in Florida this Saturday and it is strictly to cheer lead his voters. Now this process reminds me of Hitler and Mussolini.

(531 posts)was 70k to 80k vs. the Hillary voter being less at 50 or 60k. I have quoted this stat more than any other during this election, the greatest fallacy I hear repeated is that these voters are poor and uneducated, many of them are rich educated assholes who know exactly why they voted for one of their own.

(2,535 posts)the rich white raise the poor white voters income. Same with Hillary but with Minorities. Not exactly a balance of everyone. I know West Texas has mostly white voters sot it catches the rich and very poor.
