Four weeks. That's all it's been. Each of us reaches the end of each day shaking our heads

a day's (and sometimes night's as well) worth of baffling, unbelievable news - we come here and read endless articles (REAL NEWS) written by a (thankfully) awakened media - in some cases (such as TPM), continuing to do the good work they've been doing.

If anyone can possibly take a step back - we realize that the unspeakable that carried out that circus today is entangled with Russia. He is in his position only because of this. That alone should be enough. But it gets layered on and covered over with more - endless, so much more, so many lies. He has surrounded himself with more lies, and bigotry, and misogyny, and racism - a whole mall full of deplorables, of a group that clearly loathes not only America but themselves and the poor misguided souls who actually thought voting for him was a good idea.

It is gaslighting on the grandest of scales. We watch the media try to do their job, twisting themselves in knots, torn between the decency that surely some of them have as human beings, but conflicted so long by their right wing owners, as well as the need to get the eyeballs and the clicks.

As many have noted here, the center can't hold - this simply can't go on. How it gets resolved - hell, what tomorrow will bring - is anyone's guess.

But - what is clear is that we are in such deeply uncharted territory as a country.

the USA is the laughing stock of the world with this idiot. I wake up each morning hoping I read that he Dolt4 has resigned or has been removed.

This can't continue...when will the repukes realize this? Today may have been a start. But I doubt it.
